2024 NCASA Annual Meeting - New Directors and Officers Elected

We are delighted to announce the NCASA Annual Meeting was May 11 at 11:00 AM presented in the Mac Gray Auditorium.

During the Annual Meeting we recognized Cup Partners and thanked sponsors.

The following educators were elected as directors of the association:

• Jeff James, Superintendent, Iredell-Statesville Schools

• Erika Lindblom, Teacher and Coach, William A Hough High School

• Jennifer Riska, Teacher and Coach, Mount Airy Middle School

• Clay Honeycutt, Teacher and Coach, Gray Stone Day School

• Annette Cowan, Teacher and Coach, J Sam Gentry Middle School

• Janice Giles, Principal, North Chatham Elementary School

• Riley Shaner, Teacher and Coach, Seaforth High School

• Stephen Church, Teacher and Coach, Highland Middle School

• Leon Pfeiffer, Executive Director, NCASA

The President's Message and State of the Association were also presented.

New officers were elected in our Board of Directors meeting:

• President - Jeff James, superintendent, Iredell-Statesville Schools

• Vice-President - Scott Plaster, scholastic director and coach, Atkins High School

• Treasurer - Doug Massengill, Massey Hill Classical High School

Finally, the board kept the 2024-2025 school membership fee unchanged from this year.

• - Middle and High School fee will be $300 per school plus $0.25 per enrolled student.

• - Elementary School fee will be $300 per school.
