NCASA Update for 4/27

Hello! We have few important notes and several shout outs as we approach the end of the Scholastic season:

Please RSVP for our Annual Meeting! Finalists for Awards will be notified this week, and representatives from all schools are invited.

Congratulations to North Chatham Elementary and Chatham Grove Elementary, winner and runner-up of this year's "Chatham Bowl" virtual, three-week Quiz Bowl tournament. We're so glad to see schools getting our students started young!

Congratulations to Liberty Middle School, this year's champion in the Burke County regional Quiz Bowl.

With only a few results remaining, NCASA is making the call on the following Cup races. Congratulations to the following schools:

• Jay M. Robinson (MS large school)

• Brown Summit (MS small school), and

• the Early College at Guilford (HS small school)

The final three-or-four-school Cup race is too close to call, with results not yet in for Econ Challenge, History Day, and Ready Set App. In addition, the school system Cup points totals are still being tabulated. Find current points totals on our website.

Schools and school systems --- Looking at your dollars now could save you money on next year's budget! Our BOD has approved an early renewal incentive for schools and LEAs who renew before August 1. Renew at this year's prices! Expect to hear more from NCASA in May about this promotion.
