NCASA Weekly Update: 8/11

ree

Principals and Scholastic Directors,

NCASA is excited to be partnering with you and your students for this 2025-26 school year. If you haven't done so already, please take a moment to enroll your school in NCASA membership. All schools that want to participate in a competition must enroll. Please use the School Membership Form on this page to do so.

In addition to enrolling your school for membership, a payment is required. Some LEAs pay for their entire district's membership which allows all of their secondary schools to compete. If your LEA does not do so, then your individual school will need to pay for membership. Each school must complete the Part II Form. If your school, rather than your LEA, is paying, you will include your payment with this form and mail it to NCASA. The school membership fee for middle and high schools is $300 per school plus $0.25 per student enrolled on the tenth day of school. The school membership fee for elementary schools is $200 per school.

As of today, we have received LEA payments from Yadkin, Iredell-Statesville, Surry, Nash, and Newton-Conover. We have also received individual school payments from Jay M. Robinson Middle. We will create an invoice for LEAs once you indicate that you are joining NCASA.

We also wanted to share the schedule of events for the upcoming year. Please note that Quiz Bowl Virtual League has changed from the Winter to the Fall! A link to register for the Virtual Quiz Bowl League will be provided in our next newsletter.
