Introducing Our New Executive Director

New Executive Director, Scott Plaster

Dear NCASA Member Schools,

On behalf of the NCASA Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce the appointment of J. Scott Plaster as the new Executive Director of the North Carolina Association for Scholastic Activities.

Scott brings more than 30 years of experience in education and leadership, including over a decade of service as a teacher, coach, and scholastic director. He joins us from Atkins High School, where he guided the school to an unprecedented 10 consecutive Scholastic Cup finishes. His deep commitment to students and his proven record of advancing scholastic opportunities make him an outstanding choice to lead NCASA into its next chapter.

We are confident that under his leadership, NCASA will continue to grow and strengthen its support for schools and students across North Carolina. Please join me in welcoming Scott to this new role.
