We are pleased to announce the 2016 Middle School Forensics Regional Champions and teams advancing to the state final!

On Saturday April 9 students from across North Carolina gathered at three sites to compete in the Middle School Forensics regional tournaments. Students competed in six events: Public Forum, Extemporaneous Speaking, Original Oratory, Humorous Interpretation, Dramatic Interpretation, and Duo Interpretation. Extemporaneous speakers prepared speeches on the spot covering US Education and Chinese-Japanese relations. Teams of public forum debaters hashed out whether the US should keep their base on Okinawa. Students participating in Original Oratory and the various Interpretation events came already prepared with their pieces.
