Saturday, December 3 marked the 2022 State Finals of The Quill, the state writing competition for middle and high school students in North Carolina.  The event was hosted by Smith Middle School of Chapel Hill and saw students responding to prompts in Argumentation, Problem/Solution, Narrative (middle school), Creative Writing (high school), Informative/Explanatory (middle school), and Literary Analysis (high school).
