Twelve is a knowledge-based academic competition that challenges teams of students to answer questions covering a variety of subject areas. The competition is based primarily on the core curriculum. Twelve teams of twelve students each will tackle twelve topics with twelve questions each. Will your school be one of twelve to compete for the state championship of Twelve?
2014 UPDATE: Atkins High School in Winston-Salem, NC School of Science and Mathematics in Durham, and Central Middle School in Gates County will host Regional Competitions on November 22. Rogers-Herr Middle School will host the State Final on December 13.
High School Competition check-in will begin at 9:00 AM, kick-off at 9:45 AM. Middle School check-in will begin at 12:30 PM, kick-off at 1:15 PM.

Twelve - Study and Practice
Since Twelve is a contest that relies on a wide range of knowledge, the most effective practice will include questions of varying difficulty from various topics. It will also be helpful for students to practice using the tournament format and timing using the Presentations available for download.
