Glee Clubs from around the state compete by submitting videos, then engage in a live competition to battle for the championship.

 

Glee Club - Overview

NCASA presents the first statewide high school music competition: the North Carolina Glee Club Competition.  In Phase 1 of the competition, schools will record and upload a video of their Glee Club.  Judges will review the submissions and the top Glee Clubs will be invited to perform in the live State Finals.

Important Dates

  • September 29 - competition registration opens.
  • February 24 - deadline for video submission
  • March 9 - District winners and advancement to State Finals announced
  • May 5 - Live State Finals hosted by Simon G Atkins A&T High School in Winston-Salem.

Our three judges will adjudicate the online submissions and live portion of the competition. Andy Beck, Al Sturgis, and Nina Wheeler all have extensive experience in show choir adjudication.
